For my next Zinefest event I am making coasters! I have printed out laser prints of some sketches and paintings I have done recently, went to Home Depot and purchased tiles for 16 cent each, purchased chemicals to make epoxy resin and WAH-LAH! Coasters they have become! I find it fun to make crafts after work, life is a bitch unless you know how to keep that bitch in line! (just kidding!) Hope you enjoy, I took some photos during the process to show how easy & fun it is!
Today in the North East it is rainy. Rain drops all over! Days like this are awesome because it makes me want to finish up some paintings. Take advantage of the gloom.

” When He Can’t Be, She’ll Take Care Of You”…funny, as much as I missed painting, it made me think of other things I’ve missed such as a seeing a good friend of mine. This is for her. (Unfinished)
It’s been a month or so since I’ve been able to finish these two paintings but soon enough they will be complete! They are close to my size, about 5’2 & 4’9 painted on wood panels. I am excited to finish them! The larger one “My Life, My Lover, My Lady Is The Sea” was inspired by the song “Brandy, by The Looking Glass” (it is also my name so I guess the title of the song signs my name for me..haha)
Recently I’ve acquired an awesome Guided By Voices mix. Needless to say I’m a fan. Robert Pollard writes pretty amazing lyrics not to mention the music has a lo-fi sound but it’s catchy as shit! I started effing around and doodling as I was tuning in and out and back in again.

Ah…birthdays, beacause I am broke as crap, I give my friends art for their b-days. Since I am on this skull kick I decided to draw her sweet little pitbull named Glory. Yes, glory is a hipster dog, she is also known as “Gloryhole” thanks to me being drunk the first time I met her.
On break at work doodles. Here is a baby fetus skull with a light-weighted bird body. It was actually inspired by a song about realizing the capability of ever becoming a lover is impossible. Fly baby, Fly!
It is Friday. I can not wake up for the hell of me, I probably should have laid off the wine last night knowing I had work in the morning. Then again, I should probably do a lot of things knowing I have work. Anywho! To keep awake and productive I am doing mini sketches and because coffee is my companion today, I am featuring my eternal love for this delicious caffeinated liquid and the only forgivable reason for taking it away from me! Dawww!
